Nikon has just announced a super coolpix P900, which breaks the world record with a amazing 83x optical zoom, the equivalent of a 24-2000mm on a 35mm sensor!

The normal telescope only has 600mm. One of the longest Canon's len is EF 800mm f/5.6 L IS USM (which is 15000$), only has 800mm

There was Canon Powershot SX60 HS, with 65x optical zoom. This camera is quite impressive, as you can see in the below video

But when Nikon P900 breaks the world record, Canon can't sit still. There is rumor about Canon super zoom camera, up to 100x optical zoom. It may be the Canon SX70 HS. Let's see what it look like in the future.
